Each course was accompanied with a wine pairing and an explanation/introduction by Marcos and Chef Mateus which really elevated the experience! I would 100% suggest this experience for solo travelers, but would be equally great for couples, families, friend groups, etc.

HIGHLY recommend for all, and if you are a solo-traveler, I think a great way to make travel friends! Mateus is a very talented chef, you can tell he has so much passion for what he does!

Thought, creativity and surprising flavors were added to every single component of the menu.
When the butter is a talking point... read more you have high hopes for the rest of the meal. It delivered in every area. Delicious bread, olives, cheese, jam left us in heaven before the main dishes were served.
Each dish was incredible, plated beautifully and creatively and described wonderfully by Mateus.
I don't drink alcohol and was served a delicious blueberry and orange juice instead which was amazing.
An amazing, homely setting which is relaxed and charming provided the back drop to culinary excellence.
If you are wondering whether to do this my advice is to make it a must do part of any trip to Lisbon. This was a massive highlight of our trip.
Thank you Mateus and Marco and our other companions for the evening for making it a night to remember.

This was by far a highlight of my time in Lisbon and I would highly recommend it!

  It is an amazing experience with wonderfully prepared food. Amazing quality and menu. The personal care during the dinner was also outstanding! Will definitely do it again!
