The care and thoughtfulness with which he created an elevated menu and took us through a culinary journey with regional context was truly wonderful. I am gluten free and Mateus made some incredible gluten free bread and cake that allowed me to experience Portugeuse classics that are quite difficult to get elsewhere in Lisbon. My wife is pescatarian and was able to enjoy traditional dishes that were made deliciously vegetarian.
