Absolutely wonderful experience. Chef Mateus made this so much more than just dinner — it was a really fun introduction to Portuguese food, wine, and culture. He explained the dishes and their history as we went, and everything felt relaxed, personal, and welcoming. The food was delicious, the conversation was great, and it ended up being one of our favorite experiences in Lisbon. Highly recommend if you want something more memorable than just going out to a restaurant.

Mateus is an amazing chef and the food was incredible. I do not like clams and I was converted clam fan after his heavenly dish. Each course was well planned, executed to perfection and complimented with wine.
Mateus and his Brother were warm inviting and the sibling love they share translates to the food. As a solo traveler, it made the night very comfortable and it felt like six strangers were all sitting down to a family dinner. It was a lovely way to spend my last night in Portugal and was one of my favorite experiences.

What an absolutely incredible experience! My partner and I enjoyed a private, intimate dinner, easily one of the highlights of our time in Portugal. Chef Mateus is truly talented. Each course was beautifully presented and full of flavor. He personally came out with every dish to explain the ingredients from local markets, their origins, and the inspiration and history behind each creation. His brother Marcus was equally wonderful, taking care of the service and wine throughout the evening. Together, they made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The setting was charming, unique, and intimate, and communication was flawless from start to finish. Everything was incredibly professional yet warm and personal. Chef Mateus has an exceptional gift, and experiences like this are where his talents shine brightest, without getting lost in the volume of a traditional restaurant. An unforgettable evening we cannot recommend highly enough!

O Mateus é um chef incrível e a comida estava fantástica. Não gosto de amêijoas e passei a ser fã de amêijoas depois do seu prato divino. Cada prato foi bem planeado, executado na perfeição e acompanhado por vinho.
O Mateus e o irmão foram acolhedores e simpáticos, e o amor fraterno que partilham reflete-se na comida. Como viajante a solo, senti-me muito à vontade durante a noite e pareceu que seis pessoas desconhecidas estavam todas sentadas a um jantar em família. Foi uma forma encantadora de passar a minha última noite em Portugal e foi uma das minhas experiências favoritas.

O chef Mateus é realmente talentoso. Cada prato estava lindamente apresentado e cheio de sabor. Ele veio pessoalmente com cada prato para explicar os ingredientes dos mercados locais, as suas origens e a inspiração e a história por trás de cada criação. O irmão dele, o Marcus, também foi fantástico e tratou do serviço e do vinho durante toda a noite. Juntos, fizeram-nos sentir genuinamente bem-vindos e valorizados. O ambiente era encantador, único e intimista, e a comunicação foi impecável do início ao fim. Estava tudo incrivelmente profissional, mas ao mesmo tempo acolhedor e pessoal. O Chef Mateus tem um talento excecional, e é em experiências como esta que os seus talentos brilham mais, sem se perderem no movimento de um restaurante tradicional. Uma noite inesquecível que não podemos recomendar o suficiente!
