When the butter is a talking point... read more you have high hopes for the rest of the meal. It delivered in every area. Delicious bread, olives, cheese, jam left us in heaven before the main dishes were served.
Each dish was incredible, plated beautifully and creatively and described wonderfully by Mateus.
I don't drink alcohol and was served a delicious blueberry and orange juice instead which was amazing.
An amazing, homely setting which is relaxed and charming provided the back drop to culinary excellence.
If you are wondering whether to do this my advice is to make it a must do part of any trip to Lisbon. This was a massive highlight of our trip.

The wine was plentiful and added to the pleasure of the meal and conversation. We also enjoyed learning about the history of the food and Portugal through your thoughtful selection of the food used in the tasting.
